We are thrilled to partner with Stacey, owner of Zafiro Salon and Spa, located in the heart of Antigua. An American who moved to Guatemala 13 years ago, Stacey has built deep roots in the community and immediately connected with Shear Advantage's mission to empower women through hairdressing skills.

During our workshops, Stacey provides incredible hands-on support her talented employees. Zafiro staff generously volunteer their time throughout our workshop week, sharing their expertise and creating a welcoming learning environment for our students. Their commitment extends beyond our visits - they are enthusiastic about offering continuing education classes to help our students build their skills between our annual trips.

Their dedication to mentoring and their willingness to open their salon as a learning space demonstrate the kind of community partnership that makes lasting change possible.
